World Championships: SCOTT11 with flat tires
It was a great race today in Mont Sainte Anne, but for once, SCOTT11 was not one of the winners at the end. Both, Fabien Pedemanaud and Nick Beer were on the way to a top result when they had a flat rear tire. We didn't have any flat tires at all in the whole world cup season, but today, we had two of them.
Only Floriane Pugin was able to show her consistency at the last big international race of the year with a fourth place, just missing the bronze medal by two seconds.
Emilie Siegenthaler took some risks trying to brake through her 9th-place-series, but she crashed and ended up in 14th place.
These were the best organized world championships in mountainbike history. They took mountainbike events to the next levels. Big thanks to the organizing company GESTEV.
